Facts and figures about Alexandria Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology

The Alexandria Higher Institute for Engineering and Technology was established under Ministerial Resolution No. 1103 of 1997 and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in accordance with the regulations and laws governing it. The institute awards a Bachelor's degree in four distinguished engineering programs, and all degrees are accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities and are equivalent to those awarded by Egyptian universities. The institute is also accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, the Arab Engineers Union, and the African Universities Union. Its students are eligible for registration with the syndicate and the union upon graduation. The institute has also obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification for the quality of its management system.

The institute has four distinguished and advanced engineering departments that are in high demand in the job market.
